Pharmacy Informatics Residencies
Last update: 2/4/2008A residency in pharmacy informatics is suggested for any individuals wishing to pursue a career in this area. A residency program is designed to expand the pharmacist's basic knowledge of systems and expose the person to new areas of learning. Informatics residency programs include projects involving knowledge transfer, data warehousing and data mining, and the use of information science in patient care.

James A Haley VAH Pharmacy Service The hospital has just applied for accreditation for the pharmacy informatics residency, so if the information is not available at this time, it should be shortly. Because this is a new accreditation application, residents can still apply for the 2008-2009 program which starts July 1.
